- HTML: the beating heart of the Web. We are proficient in HTML5, as well as the legacy standards of XHTML and HTML4.
- CSS: the simple but powerful way that the Web is made beautiful. We develop primarily in the cutting edge of CSS3, although for older systems we are also experts in CSS2 and CSS1. (For those of you sending emails to Outlook Express users we can even remember a thing or two about the dark days before CSS!)
- Javascript: client-side scripting and the key to interactivity. We love Javascript frameworks - jQuery, Dojo, MooTools, Prototype - but should the need arise we are also quite happy using the basic browser DOM.
- PHP: for connectivity with a database or any external system, back-end programming is what you need, and PHP is the language to do it in. We are experts in PHP5 and the Zend framework.
- Perl: the grandfather of web programming. We have something of a soft spot for Perl, still a key player in web development after more than 20 years. Fast, powerful and extensible. We have written many, many modules over the years, and they're almost all still in use today.
- MySQL: the database platform of choice for the web developer. We have integrated and maintained hundreds of MySQL databases over the years and we're not slowing down any time soon.
